Apocalypse Weird: Oregon
I live in Washington state, but I love Oregon. Especially after the SuperSonics were STOLEN, so ending the I-5 rivalry with the Trailblazers.
My wife and I take the kids on vacation to Oregon as a first choice. I have dear friends in Scappoose, Warren, Woodburn, and Bend. Extended family live in Medford, Springfield, and Troutdale.
I love the state.
But as a Washingtonian, I’m delighted to have been asked by Nick Cole to destroy Oregon for Apocalypse Weird.
The work is conceptualized as a serial. Several small tales building a larger overall story. The 88 in charge of Oregon got started a while ago, and what you’ll experience is a world reduced back to its Pioneer Oregon territory days, survivors making use of what technology remains. Mostly guns, because, apocalypse.
Apocalypse Weird Oregon is a peaceful place. A refuge for those who can find its forts through the mists. But evil incarnate stalks the trails.
